Anaesthesia Remix – Rare Bonus Track from Japan Release

Here’s a rare remix of Faye Wong’s (王菲) “Anaesthesia,” which was included as a bonus track in the Japan release of Scenic Tour (Chang You, Oct. 1998). The original version appeared in Faye Wong 1997 (Sep. 1997), which was Faye’s first EMI album. It was added to YouTube by wanderlustliu on 3 Oct. 2009. The audio below was ripped from the video.

  1. I’ve always loved this remix. So relaxed and pretty, feels like you’re flying. :)

  2. “Feels like you’re flying” — I like that, Delirium-Zer0. It captures what I feel about Faye. She seems to defy the gravity that keeps the rest of us glued to the ground. Everything about her soars with the kind of freedom that we can only dream about. Through her, though, through her voice and beauty, we can experience some of that weightlessness. When I’m tired or need a break, I kick back, close my eyes, and listen, via headphones, to Faye. She immediately lifts me off the ground and makes me feel as though I’m flying in a different world. When I return from these flights, I feel totally refreshed.

  3. would it be possible for me to get a copy of this audio file?? i havent heard this before, and i love it
