Faye Wong – Composer and Writer

As fans, we tend to forget that Faye Wong is much, much more than a singer, actress, and model. She’s also an extremely talented composer and lyricist. The list of her original works is astounding. They include many of her major hits. And they definitely make up the bulk of her most creative and progressive songs. This is a critical factor in Faye’s appeal — she’s not only phenomenally beautiful, talented, and loved by fans, friends, and colleagues, but she’s also extremely creative. To listen to these songs, see “Faye’s Compositions” in the right sidebar.

  1. Brilliant!

  2. They should cut an album just dedicated to her creation….

  3. Wubing, that would be a dream album! I think it’d outsell all of her previous hits. It would have to be a 3-CD set to accommodate the 28+ songs! But if it came out over the Christmas holidays, I think it’d break all sales records. They’d probably sell out on the first day of sales in every city where they’re distributed. Wah!

  4. Hehe so true so true….

  5. A better Translation for
    9. No Staying (To Love, Nov 2003)
    Would be “Leave Nothing”

  6. Lauren, thanks for the correction! I made the change.
